Loyola School emerges winners in San Revo

Teams from St. Thomas Central School, St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, GR Public School, L’ecole Chempaka International and Saraswati Vidyalaya took part.

Loyola School, here, emerged overall champions in the San Revo-2012 inter-school cultural festival organised on Saturday by the Class 12 students of St. Thomas Residential School.

According to a press note, San Revo-2012 was inaugurated by film editor Beena Paul Venugopal. Chinmaya Vidyalaya was the runner up .

Varsha Renjith of L’ecole Chempaka and Varun Ramdas of Loyola were adjudged the winners of ‘Simply The Best,’ the personality contest. Chaotic Years, a symphonic metal band, performed during the closing ceremony. Actor Kunchako Boban, the chief guest for the closing ceremony, distributed the prizes to the winners.

San Revo featured seven competition items—Rock Reunion (Western group song), BrainStorm (quiz), Ganamala (music quiz), The Quest (scavenger hunt based on the TV show, ‘Amazing Race’), Action Replay (comedy drama), Simply the Best (personality contest) and Burn The Floor (Dance).
