Become a ‘Vandi Mothalali’ by ‘unlocking’ all cars, and ‘Chadiyan Chandu’ by getting involved in 50 accidents that endangered the lives of pedestrians. These are only a few of the peculiar, yet curiously interesting, features of ‘Traffic Guru’, a traffic awareness simulator that has been launched by the Kerala Police.
Exploring uncharted waters in sensitising the public to road traffic safety, the police force has ventured upon an endeavour to impart knowledge in a fun-filled manner. The simulator enabled users to test their driving skills by adhering to the traffic regulations.
With its superlative graphics, the game provides real-life scenarios, dynamic traffic, climates and time of the day.
It enables learning through interesting tutorials.
Conceptualised by Additional Director General of Police (Crimes) Nitin Agrawal, the game has been developed by Rain Concert Technologies, a Technopark-based company, in association with the Information Communication and Technology Centre of the State Crimes Records Bureau.
State Police Chief Loknath Behera formally launched the application at a function on Tuesday.
