The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) will relaunch its Sayahna Garden Restaurant on Mascot Hotel premises with Kumarakom food festival on August 26.
‘Sayahna’, the outdoor restaurant adjoining the new heritage block set amidst lush green environs with exotic flora, including night bloom flowers, is being relaunched with a new menu at affordable rates.
“Lighting has been redone to match the ambience of the garden restaurant and the heritage building, and to attract children. The aim is to make it an active joint for diners’, said Rahul R., Managing Director, KTDC.
Food fete
KTDC chairman M. Vijayakumar will inaugurate the eight-day food fete that will offer dishes from the upper Kuttanad region. It will be on from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
From Kumarakom kozhi curry, Kozhi kurumulagu fry (Live counter), Pothu erachi roast, Pothu erachi ularthiyathu, Netholi fry (Live counter),Kuttanadan meen curry, Kumarakom Karimeen, Koonthal roast, Njandu roast, Tharavu shappu curry to Aadu thenga kothu kurumulagu masala figure on the menu.
From September 3, the revised menu will be rolled out at Sayahna.
