Committees disbanded

August 03, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 06:05 am IST - Thiruvananthapuram:

The State and district committees of the Kerala Students’ Union (KSU) have been disbanded by the national executive of the National Students Union of India (NSUI). In a statement here on Tuesday, NSUI national secretary in charge of KSU Sravan Rao said the committees had been disbanded in view of the upcoming organisational elections. However, sources said the State KSU committees had been disbanded because these were constituted without the clearance of the organisation’s national leadership. The membership was free of cost and could be procured online, the statement said. — Special Correspondent
