KSSP’s focus on green issues lauded

The Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) has been able to focus on environmental issues and this is its major contribution during the past 50 years, former Planning Board member K.N. Harilal has said.

He was inaugurating the district-level meeting of the KSSP at Government Higher Secondary School, Marayamuttom, here on Saturday.

Mr. Harilal said society and various organisations, including the KSSP, had not been able to go deep into the democratic process that took place in Kerala society.

KSSP district president K. Vijayakumar presided.

Honoured

At the function, P. Pradeep and S. Velukuttypillai were honoured. The meet will conclude with the ‘sasthra jatha’ on Sunday.
