: A Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) initiative to start classroom libraries in all schools in the city got off to a start recently at Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Cotton Hill.
The initiative is aimed at giving libraries in schools a fresh lease of life, and popularising various publications of the KSSP among students.
The KSSP will hold competitions for students based on its publications on certain days such as Reading Day. A special edition of the KSSP’s Sasthrakeralam , a publication for high school students, on life of microorganisms was released on the occasion.
