‘Kids Lab’ project to be piloted in Thiruvananthapuram

Kerala’s first ‘Kids Lab’ project aimed at harnessing the scientific temperament of children will be piloted in the capital city. The State Department of Science and Technology; Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC); and the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum (KSSTM) are conducting a six-day Kids Lab pilot study, jointly with BASF India Limited — a transnational chemical company.

The pilot study will be inaugurated on the World Science Day, February 28, and will be on till March 5 at the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and Priyadarsini Planetarium.

V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai, Principal Secretary, Science and Technology said, “during the study period, children will have an opportunity to explore and understand science through fun activities.”
