Jet Airways on Thursday said that it will start daily flights from Thiruvananthapuram to Dammam in Saudi Arabia from March 28.

Jet will deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft on this route, it said in a statement.

Dammam will be Jet’s tenth destination in the Gulf region and its third in Saudi Arabia.

The airline currently has flights to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat, Sharjah, Jeddah and Riyadh in the Gulf from various cities in India.

“We are confident that the new Thiruvananthapuram—Dammam service will prove similarly popular with our guests,” Jet Airways CEO Nikos Kardassis said.

It currently operates a fleet of 89 aircraft, which includes 10 Boeing 777—300 ER aircraft and 12 Airbus A330—200 aircraft.
