‘It’s up to HC to resolve stand-off’

July 30, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 06:04 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM/NEW DELHI:

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that he hoped the Kerala High Court would step in without delay to resolve the dispute between lawyers and mediapersons.

Replying to questions at his news conference in New Delhi on Friday, Mr. Vijayan said the government had limitations in intervening in an issue which was within the domain of the judiciary. He, however, conceded that the time had come to resolve the dispute and restore the peace that prevailed before the incidents on the High Court premises on July 18.
