Industrial gas manufacturer to double investments in State

INOX Air Products Ltd , joint venture of INOX Group of India and Chemical Inc. USA, and a major manufacturer and supplier of industrial gases, including oxygen , has plans to double its investments in the next three years in order to contribute to efforts to provide world class healthcare services in the State, said Mr Pankaj Chaturvedi- Head of sales and marketing divisions at a Press conference here .

In the last two years this Mumbai-headquarted company has set up liquid medical oxygen installations at Kerala State Co-operative Medical College and Hospital in Pariyaram, AKG and Koyili Hospitals in Kannur, EMS and Maulana Hospitals in Perinthalmanna, Tellicherry Co-operative Hospital, Almas Hospital, Kottakal, Kolencherry Medical College and Hospital, Kozhikode Medical College, Sunrise, and Lakshmi and Super Specialty Hospitals at Ernakulam .

It also has a distribution facility at Ernakulam and is setting up more such facilities across the State, said Mr Pankaj Chaturvedi at the Press conference on Friday night.

INOX Air Products has also launched an analgesic – OXYNOX- a pain relieving gas mixture containing nitrous oxide and oxygen in equal proportion. It is being used for many years in childbirth. This gas, administered through a face mask or a mouth piece under supervision, is known to take effect instantly. It is also used as an instant pain reliever for accident victims in trauma.

INOX Air Products with more than 25 manufacturing facilities across 12 States and 35 distribution centers serves more than 300 hospitals across the country as well as a wide variety of industries in iron and steel making, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, solar power generation and automobiles, Mr Pankaj Chaturvedi said at his Press conference.
