Indo-U.S. Air Force Conference in Thiruvananthapuram from Monday

The 15th conference of the Executive Steering Group of air forces of India and the United States of America will be held at the Southern Air Command Headquarters here on Monday.

The three-day conference will discuss policies and exchanges on defence cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.

A 13-member U.S. Air Force delegation, led by the Commander of 13 Air Force Lieutenant General Herbert J. Carlisle, will attend the conference. Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal P.K. Barbora will lead the 16-member Indian Air Force delegation.

The annual conference is held alternatively in the United States and India. Its scope encompasses bilateral cooperation in conducting various Indo-U.S. subject matter expert exchanges, an official release said.
