AAI Thiruvananthapuram airport bags award

: The Airports Authority of India Thiruvananthapuram international airport has bagged the award for best implementation of the official language policy instituted by Town Language Implementation committee (TOLIC) for Central Government undertakings in the capital.

In the house e-magazine section, Airports Authority of India Thiruvananthapuram international airport’s Deepthi bagged the second prize of TOLIC, which has 23 members.

Airport Director George G. Tharakan received the award from the DGP, Prison, Rishiraj Singh at the annual function held at HLL, Peroorkada factory here, recently.

Hareendra Kumar, Director (Training and Implementation) of Official Language Department, under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, M. Ayyappan, Chairman, HLL and the Deputy Director (Implementation) of Regional Implementation Office (South-West), Cochin, Sunitha Devi attended the function.
