IIT M.Tech. topper from Thiruvananthapuram

Jijo K. Mathew, who hails from the capital city, has emerged topper in the M.Tech. examination of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Jijo K. Mathew, who hails from the capital city, has emerged topper in the M.Tech. (Transportation - Civil Engineering) examination of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT, Madras).

He has been awarded a scholarship to do his doctoral studies at the Purdue University, Indiana, the U.S., and is due to join the programme in August.

He is an alumnus of the Loyola School and the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.

He is the son of K.S. Mathew, Associate Professor of Physics, Mar Ivanios College and Sally V. Joseph, Assistant Director with the Agriculture Department.
