The Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will tour the city for five days from Tuesday. The nationwide publicity drive is intended to encourage the youth of the country to join the IAF.

The IPEV is a specially modified vehicle that showcases various aspects of the IAF, including career-related information, life and training in the force. The experience zone in the vehicle offers one a chance to enjoy the experience of various Air Force activities such as Sarang aerobatics, Air Warrior Drill Team, and flying through Glasstron goggles. The vehicle also has a simulator zone where one can experience the joy of flying various aircraft. In addition, the aircraft model zone displays latest aircraft in its inventory with their features and videos.

The publicity drive was launched during the IAF’s 83rd anniversary celebrations by Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, on October 8.
