Fever clinics at PHCs soon

Special fever clinics and mobile clinics will be launched soon at Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in the city as part of epidemic control efforts, Mayor V.K. Prasanth has said.

He was inaugurating a medical camp on Tuesday that was jointly organised by the city Corporation and SUT Hospital, Pattom, at the Balakrishna Kalyanamandapam, Thirumala.

As many as 150 patients attended the camp, which was led by ward councillors Manju, R. P. Shivaji and K. Anil Kumar.

The premises of the Government Women and Children’s Hospital was cleaned up under the leadership of Health Minister K. K. Shylaja, Tourism and Cooperation Kadakampally Surendran, and Mr. Prasanth, as part of the ongoing drive to clean the premises of public institutions.
