Three persons were arrested for unauthorised possession of explosive materials near Mattannur on Thursday night. The police seized the materials and an autoriskshaw used by the three.
The police said explosive materials and crackers were seized during a late night raid late night following a tip-off. The three were arrested from a shed attached to a quarry near Pattanur. The arrested are Anupkumar (36), Aneesh (27) and V.K. Rayees (26).
The police said the three were suspected to be members of a gang involved in making unauthorised crackers.
