Entrance tests at 351 venues

The engineering entrance test 2016-17 will be held on April 25 and 26 and the medical and allied courses entrance tests on April 27 and 28.

All preparations are in place for the conduct of these tests across 351 centres in and outside Kerala. The tests will be held in all district centres in the State and at centres in Mumbai, Delhi, and Dubai.

Of the 1,65,861 applicants, 1,23,914 would write the engineering test and 1,26,186 would attempt the medical entrance tests.

As many as 8,000 teachers from aided and government schools and other officials of the Education Department have been posted at different locations for the smooth conduct of the tests. Government and aided schools and colleges have been chosen as venues for these tests, a press note issued here on Wednesday said. Admit cards have already been issued.
