Directive on Thiruvananthapuram CRIP roads

January 08, 2014 12:59 pm | Updated May 13, 2016 08:02 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

Digging of roads and footpaths, planting of saplings, and installing flex boards without the permission of Kerala Road Fund Board have been banned on the 42-km roads built under the City Road Improvement Project (CRIP). Such activities are deemed to jeopardise the safety of road users.

The Public Works Department, in a release here on Tuesday, said that the roads had been handed over to CRIPS for development and maintenance for 15 years.
