The Hindu Aikya Vedi has convened a meeting of leaders of Hindu organisations at the Levy Hall of the Sree Krishnavilasam Palace at Fort here on Saturday to discuss the steps to be taken in the context of the government's decision to go ahead with the enactment of the Devaswom Bill which, it says, will curb the religious freedom of Hindus.

Vedi State general secretary E.S. Biju said here on Tuesday that the meeting would be inaugurated by Uthradom Tirunal Marthanda Varma, head of the royal family of erstwhile Travancore. Vedi general secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan would deliver the keynote address.
