The democratic centralism followed by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has enabled it to strengthen its organisational structure, party State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said here on Monday.

Addressing a gathering after releasing a book, Virudhanmaaradu Randam Varavu , written by the former Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac at AKG Centre, Mr. Vijayan said the book was a counter to the anti-CPI(M) viewpoints that appeared soon after the murder of the RMP leader T.P Chandrasekharan. Dr. Isaac said the murder had triggered an onslaught against the party.
