The police have arrested a 32-year-old resident of Vallakadavu on the charge of making crank calls at odd hours to a couple. Circle Inspector, Thampanoor, Sheen Tharayil identified the accused as Meeran, a resident of Boat Pura.
Break-in accused held
The police on Saturday arrested Madhu, 40, a resident of Kovalam, in conection with a series of break-ins in the district. Mr. Tharayil said he was produced before the court and remanded.
