Contractors threaten stir

The All Kerala Government Contractors’ Association has decided to go an agitation against the government for not settling the bills of contractors for the works executed in the Public Works and Irrigation departments.

The All Kerala Government Contractors’ Association has decided to go an agitation against the government for not settling the bills of contractors for the works executed in the Public Works and Irrigation departments. General secretary P. Vishwanathan said the bills for the last 13 months were pending and the government had gone back on the assurance given by the Chief Minister, Finance, Public Works, and Irrigation Minsters to the contractors.
