The Kerala State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has directed the ADGP (Special Cell) to conduct a detailed probe into the death of serial actor Shilpa.

The order was issued by Commission chairman P.N. Vijayakumar on the basis of a complaint submitted by Shaji, the father of the deceased, who claimed that the ongoing probe was not headed in the right direction and gave way to several questions.

Deadline

The Commission ordered the ADGP to submit a detailed report on the probe within August 31.

All documents related to the post-mortem examination of the body will also be sought from the Medical College Hospital superintendent.
