Honour for scientist

K.V. Radhakrishnan, senior scientist, CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, has been conferred with the bronze medal instituted by the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) for the year 2016. Dr. Radhakrishnan was selected for the award for his contributions to research in chemistry. His research works focus on tapping the potential of bioactive molecules from plants found in the Western Ghats and the development of functional organic materials, dyes and photochromic systems which can be used in photovoltaic devices.
