Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers accorded a reception to party State president V. Muraleedharan on his arrival at the Thiruvalla railway station on Sunday.
Mr. Muraleedharan, accompanied by State office-bearers of the party, is on a State-wide campaign to protest against the steep rise in prices of essential commodities. BJP district president V.N. Unni handed over to Mr. Muraleedharan a mass memorandum signed by thousands of people protesting against the alleged anti-people policies of Central and State governments.
BJP district leaders V.S. Harishchandran, Prasad N. Bhaskaran, Ajith Pullad, Elanthoor Haridas, Remani Vasukkuttan, Pradeep Cherukol, V.A. Suraj, Vijyakumar Manippuzha, Vinodkumar Thirumoolapuram, Suresh Odackal, K. Sasi and T.R. Narayanan were among those who received the party State president at the railway station.
