BJP seeks action against evangelist

November 04, 2009 07:13 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 09:33 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for strong action against evangelist Bernard Blessing who had addressed a gathering here on Tuesday evening.

BJP State secretary M.T. Ramesh said in a statement here on Thursday that the foreigner had preached good news disregarding the warning from the police. His refusal to heed the warnings of the police and the insistence of the organisers that Mr. Blessing should speak at the meeting should be scrutinised.
