University of Kerala Vice-Chancellor K.A. Abraham on Monday inaugurated the new biometric punching system for university employees to register attendance.

Pro Vice-Chancellor J. Prabhash and Joint Registrar P. Raghavan were present at the function.

Eight biometric readers have been installed on the Palayam campus and seven readers on the Karyavattom campus of the university.
