Two natives of Bihar arrested

Two natives of Bihar were arrested from the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport during an alleged attempt to smuggle nearly 20 kg of banned tobacco products on Saturday.

According to the Railway Police, the accused have been identified as Amjad Mansoor, 23, and Sadaam Mansoor, 22.

They were apprehended during a joint inspection conducted by the Railway Police and Railway Protection Force (RPF) on account of the upcoming Assembly elections.

The tobacco products seized by the Railway police officials were found to have been concealed in eight bags.
