Prathidhwani, a socio-cultural and welfare organisation of IT employees based in Technopark, has presented awards to winners of its creative writing contest, Srishti 2017, held for IT employees.

The awards comprising trophies, cash prizes, and books for the winners in 11 categories were distributed by writer and Kerala Sahitya Akademi award winner Benyamin at a function held at Travncore Hall on the park premises.

“Writers are thieves who dig out the emotions hidden inside human beings and presents them back to us on coloured papers,” Mr. Benyamin said. He said he was surprised that techies, who were normally considered to be like robots, were actually part of such events promoting creativity.
