‘Krishnayanam', a two-day international children's conference organised by Balagokulam, concluded here on Sunday.
Addressing the valedictory function, former judge of the Kerala High Court K.P. Radhakrishna Menon said the younger generation should not be allowed to imbibe a culture of greed that was reportedly sweeping the country.
“Greed is the bane of Indian society.
“If children are brought up to be avaricious, it will lead to social degeneration,” the former judge said.
Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh of RSS Madan Das Devi; D. Ramanathan of Sitaram Ayurveda Pharmacy; poet S. Ramesan Nair; C. Sreedharan, patron of Balagokulam; and V. Harikumar, secretary, were present.
Staging of ‘Bharathadarsanam', a choreography, followed the meeting. It featured about 1,000 children.
Earlier, a programme titled ‘Guruprasadam' was held. Swami Prashandananda and writer C. Radhakrishnan spoke.

Comedian Jayaraj Warrier interacted with delegates in the afternoon.
