Attack on house: one arrested

: The Sreekaryam police on Friday arrested a man in connection with an attack on a house and an autorickshaw at Althara, Sreekaryam.

The accused has been identified as Prasad, 29, alias Madayan Prasad, who had gone into hiding.

The incident was the fallout of a quarrel over theft of goats belonging to Raveendran of Chithara at Sreekaryam. Raveendran’s son Rajkumar and notorious goondas Bellari Santhosh and Pullukad Kannan had quarrelled over the issue, leading to the destruction of Rajkumar’s house and autorickshaw at night-time

The duo had been arrested earlier.

Prasad is an accused in a case relating to an attempt to kill notorious goonda Chandanam Unni. He was arrested by a team led by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Control Room, Pramod Kumar and Kazhakuttam Cyber City Assistant Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar.
