Arts fete moving towards a close finish

Attingal sub-district figures among top three in all but one category

When the results of the Thiruvananthapuram revenue district arts fete were out on Thursday night, Attingal sub-district figured amongst the top three in all but one category. It led the upper primary general category with 129 points on completion of 32 events, followed by Kilimanoor with 125 points.

Kilimanoor was leading in the high school category with 263 points on completion of 77 events, followed by Thiruvananthapuram North (255), and Attingal (249).

The higher secondary category moved to a close finish after completion of 83 events, with Thiruvananthapuram North ahead at 311 points closely pursued by Thiruvananthapuram South (294), and Attingal (286).

Palode was leading the UP and HS Sanskrit categories while Attingal led the UP Arabic category. Kilimanoor and Attingal were locked at 76 points in the HS Arabic category.

Among schools, St. Theresa’s Convent Girls Higher Secondary School, Neyyattinkara, was leading the UP general category with 34 points. In the HS general category, New Higher Secondary School, Nellimood, was in the lead with 99 points while Carmel English Medium Girls Higher Secondary School, Vazhuthacaud, led the HSS category with 101 points.
