Action council formed

April 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 07:43 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

An action council demanding a fair probe into the death of nursing student Roji Roy, the sole pillar of support for her aurally challenged parents, has been set up here.

According to a press release, the main patrons of the council are the former judge of High Court D. Sreedevi and film-maker Major Ravi. The members include representatives of various organisations and people from different walks of life who are of the opinion that the investigation into the death of Roji, who fell from the tenth floor of a nursing institution here in November last, was not impartial or complete.
