Youth hacked at Poojappura

A 26-year-old youth was hacked at Punnakkamugal, Poojappura, on Wednesday night. The Poojappura police said the youth, Clint, was attacked allegedly by an eight-member gang, including Singam Danesh, a history-sheeter, around 8 p.m. Danesh was allegedly drunk at the time. He is absconding.

Clint was taken to Government Medical College Hospital, the police said. He had sustained two wounds on the head and one on his elbow, the hospital staff said.
