G.S. Unnikrishnan Nair, Deputy Director of Agriculture, has been selected for a national award for Science and Technology Communication 2016, instituted by the Department of Science and Technology.
He has been selected for efforts in science and technology communication in the electronic medium. The award, consisting of ₹1 lakh, memento and citation, will be presented at a function in New Delhi.
A native of Chettikulangara in Thiruvananthapurm, Mr. Nair is currently the Deputy Director at the Principal Agriculture Office in Wayanad. — Staff Reporter
