6 trains to get more coaches

Six long-distance mail and express trains operating through the State are to get more coaches on a permanent basis.

Trains 12617/12618 Ernakulam Junction– Hazrat Nizamuddin– Ernakulam Junction Mangala Lakshadweep express will be permanently augmented by one air-conditioned two-tier coach from Ernakulam Junction on June 19 and from Hazrat Nizamuddin on June 22.

Trains 12666/12665 Kanniyakumari– Howrah– Kanniyakumari express will be permanently augmented by one air-conditioned three-tier coach from Kanyakumari on June 25 and from Howrah on June 27, according to the Railways.

Trains16340/16339 Nagercoil– Mumbai CST– Nagercoil express will be permanently augmented by one air-conditioned three-tier coach from Nagercoil on June 20 and from Mumbai CST on June 22.

Trains 16352 /16351 Nagercoil– Mumbai CST– Nagercoil express will be permanently augmented by one air-conditioned three-tier coach from Nagercoil on June 23 and from Mumbai CST on June 25.

Trains 12667/12668 Chennai Egmore– Nagercoil– Chennai Egmore express will get one air-conditioned three-tier coach from Chennai Egmore on June 23 and from Nagercoil on June 24.

Trains 16346/16345 Thiruvananthapuram Central– Lokmanya Tilak Terminus– Thiruvananthapuram Central express will be permanently augmented by one air-conditioned three-tier coach from Thiruvananthapuram Central on June 19 and from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on June 21, according to the Railways.
