5-hour closure of airport for arat

The Thiruvananthapuram international airport will remain closed for five hours from 4 p.m. on October 28 on account of the movement of the ‘arat’ of the Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple through the operational area of the airport to Shanghumughom.

All flight operations from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. had been suspended. Air India, the national carrier, has rescheduled three of its flights departing during the period on Saturday.

AI 967 flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Sharjah will depart at 10 a.m. instead of 8.35 p.m.

The AI 264 flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Delhi will depart from here at 10 p.m. instead of 7.15 p.m.

The AI 668 flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Mumbai will depart from here at 10 p.m. instead of 8.15 p.m.
