415 new Plus Two batches sanctioned in Thiruvananthapuram

The Directorate of High Secondary Education (DHSE) has issued fresh orders bringing down the number of additional Plus Two batches to 415 from the original 700, in keeping with the Single Bench verdict of the Kerala High Court.

The order, issued late on Wednesday, also provides for admissions to 121 of the originally sanctioned 131 new higher secondary schools.

Between Ernakulam and Kasaragod, there would be 91 new Plus Two schools, down from the originally sanctioned 101.

The additional batches in schools in the region would come to 158, down from the originally sanctioned 189 batches.
