Youth Congress members on Tuesday took out a motorcycle rally demanding dismissal of the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

The rally started from Urva Stores and ended at Kannur, where there was a public meeting. The rally passed through Lalbagh, P.V.S. Circle, Lighthouse Hill, Balmatta, Kankanady, and Pumpwell Circle.

Addressing the activists, Congress leader B. Janardhan Poojary said the BJP had lost the authority to rule the State. “I do not know why they are continuing,” Mr. Poojary said. In order to highlight the inadequacies of the BJP government, the Congress activists took part in a rally from Hospet.
