Members of the district units of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal started their campaign for boycott of Chinese goods by burning goods manufactured in China near the Martrys Memorial here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil K.R., district convener of the Bajrang Dal, said that China was encouraging Pakistan-backed terrorist activities in India.

It was also trying to weaken the Indian economy. Hence, people must boycott Chinese products, he said. Leaders of both the organisations were present.
