Youth kills self as mother refuses money for wedding
A 28-year-old man committed suicide at Bannur in Puttur taluk on Wednesday after his mother refused to give him money for his marriage.
The police said Ramesh (28) was found hanging from the roof of his house.
Girija (50) of Kodinbala committed suicide by drinking poison on Wednesday. Girija's son Ramesh took her to a hospital after she drank poison. She died in hospital around 8 a.m.
Body found
The body of Ganesh Shetty (45) of Kolavoor was found at Moolur near Mangalore on Wednesday.
The police said Shetty was washed away in the Palguni river on August 15, where he had gone for a bath.
