Trains cancelled

Blockade of railway tracks by Gujjars in Kota Division of West Central Railway in Rajasthan continues to affect movement of trains to the southern parts of the country. Several trains have been cancelled owing to the protest, said a press release from Southern Railway here.

The cancelled trains are: Chandigarh–Kochuveli Express (train no. 12218) scheduled to leave Chandigarh at 8.55 a.m. on May 27; Kochuveli–Amritsar Express (12483) scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 9.20 a.m. on May 27; Thiruvananthapuram–Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast (22633) scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 2.30 p.m. on May 27, and Thiruvananthapuram– Nizamuddin Express (22655) scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 1 a.m. on May 27.
