Train schedules to be hit from September 25

In view of last phase of rail doubling between Karakkad and Shoranur, the following trains will be affected between September 25 and October 16.

Train Nos. 56323/56324 Coimbatore–Mangalore Central: Coimbatore fast passenger trains will be cancelled between Palakkad and Pallipuram Stations from September 25 to October 16. These trains will run between Coimbatore and Palakkad and between Pallipuram and Mangalore Central only.

Train Nos. 16605/16606 Mangalore Central–Nagarcoil Junction–Mangalore Central Ernad Express will be cancelled between Thrissur and Kuttipuram stations during the period.

These trains will run between Nagarcoil Junction and Thrissur and between Kuttipuram and Mangalore Central only. Train No.16606 will run as a passenger special between Kuttipuram and Mangalore Central.

Train No.16859 Chennai Egmore–Mangalore Central Express will be cancelled between Palakkad and Mangalore Central from October 2 to 15. Return train No. 16860 will be cancelled between Mangalore Central and Palakkad from October 3 to 16. These trains will run between Palakkad and Chennai Egmore.

Passengers of Train No. 16605/16606 Mangalore Central–Nagarcoil Jn Ernad Express will be ferried by bus between Kuttipuram and Thrissur.

Train No. 12617 Ernakulam–Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshadweep Express is rescheduled to leave Ernakulam at 12.20 p.m. instead of 10.45 a.m. on October 3-7, October 13 and 16.

Withheld

Train No. 16649 Mangalore Central–Nagarcoil Parasuram Express will be withheld enroute for 30 minutes on September 26; 240 minutes on October 3, 4, 6 and 13.

Train No. 16650 Nagarcoil-Mangalore Central Parasuram Express will be withheld in Thiruvananthapuram for 45 minutes on October 3, 4, 6, and 13 and 120 minutes on October 7.

Train No. 16345 Lokmanya Tilak–Thiruvananthapuram Central Netravathi Express to be regulated enroute for 175 minutes on October 3, 4, 6, and 13.

Train No. 12218 Chandigarh–Kochuveli Sampark Kranthi Express to be regulated enroute for 210 minutes on October 4.

Train No.12287 Kochuveli–Dehradun Express to be regulated in Thiruvananthapuram Division for 15 minutes on October 4.

Train No.12998 Hapa–Tirunelveli Express to be regulated enroute for 210 minutes on October 6 and 13.

Train No.12483 Kochuveli–Amritsar Express to be regulated in Thiruvananthapuram Division for 60 minutes on October 16.

Other trains may also be regulated during the period, a release by the Railways said.
