Track maintenance: Services to get affected till January 31

Train services, in Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division, will be affected between January 21 and 31 because of track maintenance work.

Consequently, several trains have either been rescheduled or partially cancelled during the period.

Train No. 22609 Mangaluru Central- Coimbatore Intercity Express scheduled to leave Central at 11.45 am is rescheduled to leave at 1 pm.

Train No. 56323 Coimbatore- Mangaluru Central Fast Passenger will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Kannur even as the train will be regulated for two hours at Palakkad Junction.

Its pairing train, 56324, Mangaluru Central- Comibatore Fast Passenger will partially be cancelled between Kannur and Shoranur.

Train No. 12223 Mumbai Lokamanya Tilak Terminal – Ernakulam Junction Duronto Bi Weekly Express will be regulated by 150 minutes on January 21 and January 24 en-route.

Train No. 22150 Pune – Ernakulam Junction Bi Weekly Express will be regulated by 95 minutes on Janury 22, 25 and 29 en-route.

Train No. 22629 Dadar – Tirunelveli Superfast Weekly Express will be regulated by 45 minutes en route on Janury 27.

Following taking up of ballast cleaning work with BCM between Parapanangadi and Kuttipuram, departure of Train No. 22638 Mangaluru Central – Chennai Central West Coast Express would get delayed.

Its services of January 21, 22, 24, 27, 28, 29 and 31 will depart Mangaluru Central at 12.20 am (past midnight) instead of the scheduled departure timing of 10.20 pm while it will leave at 11.50 pm on January 23, 25 and 30.

The train will leave Mangaluru Central at 10.20 pm on January 26, said an official release.

Train No. 22852 Mangaluru Central - Santragachi Vivek Express scheduled to leave Mangaluru central at 11 pm on January 27 will be delayed by 75 minutes.
