As many as 12 buses, including five KSRTC buses, were damaged in stray incidents of stone throwing on Tuesday morning. The incidents occurred near PVS Circle, Lalbagh, Besant College, Padil and Kannur. The police said a police patrolling party did see the person throwing stone near PVS Circle but they could not catch him. These early incidents of stone throwing led the private buses to stop their services for the most part of the day. Private city bus service was resumed in the evening.
