As many as 1,451 boys and 956 girls will be appearing for the SSLC supplementary examination to be held in 12 centres of Udupi district from June 7 to 14.
A press release issued by the Department of Public Instruction here stated that the examination centres in the district are: Christian High School, Government PU College (Malpe); Government PU College and Government Girls PU College (Udupi); Government PU College and SMS PU College (Brahmavar); Government PU College and St. Mary's High School (Kundapur); Government PU College and Rathubai Janata Girls High School (Byndoor); and Government PU College; and SVT Girls PU College (Karkala).
In order to maintain discipline and order during the examinations, the district administration has clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CPCin a 200-metre radius of the examination centres between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. from June 7 to 14.
