The Southern Railway will run a special train between Nagercoil Junction and Mangalore Junction in December to clear extra rush during the Sabarimala season.
Train No. 06306 Nagercoil Junction – Mangalore Junction special will leave Nagercoil Junction on December 14, 21 and 28 at 9 p.m. to reach Mangalore Junction at 11.15 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06305 Mangalore Junction – Nagercoil Junction special will leave Mangalore Junction on December 15, 22 and 29 at 1.30 p.m. to reach Nagercoil Junction at 4.15 a.m. the next day, said a release from Southern Railway.
The trains will stop at Eraniel, Kulitturai, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam Jn, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur Jn, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyannur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. The trains will have one two-tier AC coach, two three-tier AC coach, 12 Sleeper coaches, three unreserved coaches and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
