Vinay Kumar Sorake, Congress candidate from Kaup Assembly Constituency, has taken exception to the charge made against him by the former police officer Anupama Shenoy, who has announced that she would stand as an independent candidate from Kaup.
Replying to queries from presspersons on the charge of Ms. Shenoy that there had been little development works in Kaup Assembly Constituency, Mr. Sorake said that he would send a booklet of the works undertaken in Kaup in the last five years to her. It appeared that she had not gone around the constituency, he said.
