Skeletal remains of couple found

The police suspected that the couple hanged themselves to death weeks ago

The skeletal remains of a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were found in a forest area in Angargudde in Mulki police station limits on Friday. The Mulki police said that Balakrishna had gone to the forest area and saw two ropes tied to a tree branch and the skeletal remains lying on the ground. The police rushed there and found clothes, photos and other items that helped identify the couple. The police gave the names of the deceased as Sundara and Sharmila. They suspected that the couple hanged themselves to death several weeks ago.
