Services of several trains to be affected from September 21

Services of several trains are likely to be affected between September 21 and September 30 as Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division will be taking up maintenance work on various sections.

A release from Palakkad Division here said that Train No 56654 Mangaluru-Kozhikode Passenger would be partially cancelled between Kannur and Kozhikode from September 21 to September 28. The first round of maintenance work ends on Wednesday.

Several Express trains would have delayed running as they would be regulated en route , to facilitate the maintenance works, the release said. Train No 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshadweep Super-Fast Express would be regulated by 60 minutes till September 28.

Train No 22609 Mangaluru-Coimbatore Intercity Super-Fast Express would be regulated by 60 minutes on September 21, 22, 25, 26 and 29. Train No 16606 Nagercoil-Mangaluru Central Ernad Express would be regulated by 90 minutes till September 25. Train No 56323 Coimbatore-Mangaluru Passenger would be regulated by 45 minutes till September 25, and also on September 30.

Train No 22114 Kochuveli-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express via Kottayam would be regulated by 120 minutes before it reaches Shoranur on September 25 and 28.

Train No 22149 Ernakulam-Pune Express would be regulated by 120 minutes before it reaches Shoranur on September 26 and 29.

Train No 22655 Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express via Alappuzha would be regulated by 120 minutes before it reaches Shoranur on September 27. Train No 22653 Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express via Kottayam would be regulated before it reaches Shoranur by 120 minutes on September 30. Train No 12134 Mangaluru Junction-Mumbai CST Express would be regulated by 75 minutes till September 23.

Train No 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar Express would be regulated at Mangaluru Junction by 45 minutes from September 21 to September 23.
